Unlike previous years, where the early versions of LeBron’s shoe featured full-length 360 Max Air cushioning, the Nike LeBron 9 is setup like playoff LeBron shoes of the past with Zoom Air in the forefoot and Air Max cushioning in the heel. Like previous models, Jason Petrie did the design of the Nike LeBron 9. He included Flywire, composite materials, and Hyperfuse technology in the LeBron 9 to ensure Lockdown, superior cushioning, traction and support. Retail price for the general release colorways of the LeBron 9 is set at $170.
