Each year, San Francisco graphic designer-turned-streetwear label Benny Gold has seen its classic ‘glider plane’ logo re-interpreted by some of the community’s most renowned artists, like Mike Giant, Andy Jenkins, and jeffstaple for a limited series of t-shirts. This summer, Gold has tasked Atlanta-based Greg Mike to add his own spin to the glider. Naturally, Mike went straight to his signature “LOUDMOUF” character, which is riding Gold’s glider like a war horse into battle. The Summit Lake Hornet’s look gets two incarnations this year on LeBron’s shoe. Already seen on the regular high version now we see the LeBron 9 Low in the similar Purple and Turquoise combination. A different colorblocking is used on the low version, making it stand on it’s own and differentiate itself from it’s taller brother. With a metallic finish and White highlights throughout will this new Hornets colorway be added to your LeBron collection? Look for it soon at Nike dealers.

In a colorway that would have looked great with the Orlando Magic uniform, if they were still playing, we see Soar Blue in nubuck as the main feature.
